2026 Updates
Azalea WILL remain open, with in-person office space at the current location.
As we move into 2026, Azalea will be returning to a Solo Practice. Azalea’s wonderful clinicians are in the process of making their next steps where they can also serve within alignment to their own goals & passion areas with more financial stability.
As the Founder of Azalea; its been a privilege to work with so many therapists, interns, and clients that have moved through our doors. I plan to continue working with Interns in future years, & value the schools we partner with for that opportunity.
Over the past year, we’ve faced tremendous difficulty in continuing to serve our community members due to funding cuts & other challenges. Serving community members who are uninsured and/or rely on our public healthcare has been a foundation of our practice at Azalea. Serving clients at no cost and waiving fees due to financial distress are also foundational practices of Azalea. Its my soul purpose to serve community members most in need, and we are unable to do that as we could before within the current business structure.
Azalea will continue to provide services to community members while also maintaining participation in Medicaid and Medicare services. In efforts to adjust to these changes, I am bringing back Home Based Services (Medicare guidelines now require annual in-person visits, and we know travel is not always accessible). This also allows me to continue doing Pro Bono work in efforts to decolonize therapy & continue the steps we’ve taken toward community reparations.
It is my intent and privilege to serve our community, and thank you for your support as we navigate these changes.
*All referrals to employees continuing work as Therapists will be forwarded to their new practices upon request. If you would like to see Pam or Kate, please feel free to contact us and we will share their new information with you!*
